 There is one female that is approx 4-5 years that weighs in at a hefty 85 -90 lbs and Angie says that she is on Thyroid meds. I think she needs a blood work up and med change. She is waay too heavy.  posted by IBR Rescue at 11:46 PM 0 comments

 Victims of a nasty divorce these 42 Pure bred pointers need a place to call home. The property was bought by a relative of the person who owned the dogs, she knew there were dogs on the property , but was unaware of the number actually living on the property.
Reports say : they have shade from a big building that appears to have been hay storage at one time. Their water was clean, full and she was using large metal tubs like wash tubs. They all had food and there was plenty of empty food bags around. The kennels were not terrible, but as you can imagine there is dog poop and some mud from when they get in their water dishes and get out in the dirt. Most of the dogs are pointers, there are some hound mixes and some just plain mixes. The lady was contacting rescues on the mix breeds and a Brittany that was there. The majority of the dogs are in the 2-3 year old range with a few older and the six month old pup. The dogs are in good health and have had, rabies, dhlpp, heart worm test and that she is treating them for fleas.
